The Milking Parlour is our one bedroom cottage. Formerly a cow house and feed room this 200 year old barn has been lovingly converted to offer 4/5 star quality accommodation for 2 adults plus travel cot for an additional baby/toddler. Vaulted ceilings and high beams have all been retained to reflect the building’s original character and together with upto date facilities, the Milking Parlour provides an ideal location for your holiday. One pet is allowed at this cottage.
Ground Floor: Lounge with kitchen and dining area, toilet and basin, stone floor throughout.
First Floor: 1 bedroom with 5ft double bed, travel cot upon request. Bathroom with shower over bath, toilet and basin.
Services: Fully equipped kitchen, including fridge freezer, dish washer, microwave. Separate utility room with washer/dryer.
Nb: Additional baby/toddler and pullout bed for child upto age of 6 years is available.

The property is really dog friendly, with a fenced in garden, which is great for letting out your dog, ball games etc. The owners are wonderful friendly people who will help out with any query. The cottage itself was furnished with good quality items and spotlessly clean. They had also put lots of lovely little personal touches around too, like home made cake on arrival and even two doggy bones, they had provided everything for that first cuppa too, which we really appreciated. Can’t say one bad thing just WONDERFUL, we will return! Stayed March 2008.
The cottage was beautiful, the furnishings were top class and the owners went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Stayed Febuary 2008.
