About us...
Richard and Claire Burton live at Rockville Farm in the picturesque village of Bempton/Buckton near the famous Bempton Cliffs RSPB reserve and Flamborough Head.
Richard's family have farmed on the farm for over 50 years and over that time have kept pigs, poultry and sheep.

Due to changes in the farming industry Richard decided to diversify and developed his talent for art by converting one of the farm buildings into an Art Gallery in the 1980's. The paintings, which have proved popular with both visitors and local people, have won many awards over the years and are sold all over the world.
In 2004 the gallery was expanded and became the Richard Burton Art Centre. Click here for further information.
During 2005 further expansion work took place with the sympathetic conversion of the farm barns into 3 quality holiday cottages. Extensive landscaping created a nature area, pond and grass meadow. Visitors can relax in the summerhouse overlooking the pond and enjoy the view. Click here for building and conversion images.
